Consistency
Do not attach to the bubbles that stream into the mind.
Let what comes, come. Let what goes, go.
Do not cling & grab & hold onto the ephemeral objects of the world.
Be aware of discrimination. Of what you ask? Discriminate between the real & the unreal. Human beings tend to create pipe dreams, which refers to fanciful desires.
Be aware of dispassion. Of what you ask? Be dispassionate of attachment to the world. Human beings from birth grasp the objects in the world. We STOP grasping by letting go of pipe dreams & disentangle the knots of desire with a calm abiding mind. A calm mind is a first step.
Be aware of renunication. Of what you ask? Renounce the hindrances that lead to trouble in the mind. Do this every day, morning, noon & night.
Begin to realize and recognize knowing immortality. Knowing THAT which is inexplicable yet ever-present when we drop our attachments. This knowing leads to freedom.
Knots and knots of desire need to be cut off. When desire subsides, confidence without doubt is realized.
Work on this with devotion.
Ignore the Bubbling in the Mind.
Nothing is bound. We just believe the world is permanent. Body & mind are NOT permanent. Our true nature is immortal. When we begin to know this within ourselves we begin to let go of all the vast objects that come & go in the world. Do not forget the world is a delusion. It appears, rises, changes and disappears.
Think of how many objects have come and gone in your own life.
All of the objects vanish as our body & mind vanish.
Discipline is required. Steadfast devotion to meditation & practice is part of discipline.
Everything withers away. Doubt, thoughts, & karma wither away when we practice with sincere devotion.
Be one to serve in the present moment. When we do not heed the present moment we risk stepping into delusion. It becomes slippery. Return to the unborn, undying, uncreated, immeasurable with love.
Be careful. Do not become presumptious. Do not assume or claim. Do not become insolent. Do not become overbearing with a high horse attitude.
Sit down. Yes! Sit down before you make a fool of yourself.
Surrender as a trained horse abides in meekness.
Cease resistence to what shows up. Yield again and again. Make no protests.
Wean the mind from speculations, assumptions, claims of right & wrong, insolence & presumptions of every thing. Meekness & humility are essential changes in the mind. Go beyond the ego and the world.
“I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles.” Are You?
[Verse 1]
I’m dreaming dreams
I’m scheming schemes
I’m building castles high
They’re born anew
Their days are few
Just like a sweet butterfly
And as the daylight is dawning
They come again in the morning
I’m forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the air
They fly so high
Nearly reach the sky
Then like my dreams
They fade and die
Fortune’s always hiding
I’ve looked everywhere
I’m forever blowing bubbles
Pretty bubbles in the air
When cattle creep
When I’m asleep
To lands of hope, I stray
Then at daybreak
When I awake
My bluebird flutters away
Happiness new seemed so near me
Happiness come forth and heal me
Lyrics by Vera Lynn.

The metaphor of bubbles streaming into the mind is powerfull. We spend so much energy chasing and attaching to thoughs that dissolve as quickly as they arise. The discipline you describe, returning again and again to the present moment, is where real fredom emerges. Meekness and humility as antidotes to the ego's presumptions resonate deeply.
