Renunciation
A sincere and constant letting go of the poison of desire.
We need to consider a preliminary understanding of existence in this material world.
If we do not recognize that everything in the created world comes from the unborn, undying, uncreated, immutable, we risk a fall into the harmful thoughts of judgements, criticisms, desires, hates, angers, dislikes and confusions.
We become a critic that always has an opinion, an attitude, and makes assumptions regarding everything that is created. We fail to recognize and accept that the unborn, undying, uncreated, immutable created everything. With this false view we feel righteous and free to condemn and point a finger at everything created.
Likes and dislikes abound. We lose our rutter to go towards freedom from suffering and instead harbor in preferences and condemnations. We lose our faith and jump to opinions of right and wrong. We flail and cannot determine which way to go.
The energy of the ego turns arrogant and quickly takes a stand rather than relinquish the floating debris in the mind. Much of it being ancient and long gone. We also have a tendency to be habitual thinkers believing our habits are worthy actions.
Yet, the reality is that most of us get attached to our habits. The tendency to repeat is rooted in our ego-centered habits. We stop growing, learning and mastering our mind and give in to what we believe to be real and permanent.
We fail to follow the Way.
When Buddha left everything and followed his awakening spirit what was he exemplifying for us? When ‘Christ’ said, “Sell everything & follow me?” Are you up for that?
These teachings are encouragements for the spiritual aspirant. We need to study ourselves accordingly. To taste, touch, and see what renunciation requires of us when desire fires up and we get attached to wanting something else, something more, something less.
Desire.
Don’t Give Up. Be Quiet.
Attend to Everything Your Self.
Here are three encouragements to help us with renunciation. Study them again and again. It is a beginning.

This is very helpful, I was able to catch myself earlier getting annoyed due to an expectation I set for myself. Was a good study. Your work is so helpful.
