The ONLY Goal in Life is

An immeasurable, unborn, undying, immutable spiritual wisdom. Let this be what fills the mind.
All spiritual wisdom is within all and every part of exsistence, yet we ignore it. Our self-centered ego runs the mind and wants what it wants.
Apples do not fall far from the tree.
We go out into the world looking for satisfaction - looking for completion - looking for happiness - looking for power & wealth or the right spiritual practice.
We are looking in the wrong place.
We make lists of what we want, what we have, what we have lost - what we constantly go after. We search for what will bring us satisfaction from the external things of the world.
We forget that all the external things appear, exist for but a blink of an eye and disappear.
That which we seek is right in front of our left eye. We are more like a fallen apple than we are able to admit. We come from a seed, we grow, we develop and we are eaten by the vagaries of time.
POOF!
We forget that there are obstacles that block our ability to know our true nature.
Study the obstacles that make you ignorant.
Make a list of the obstacles.
Study them as the cause of what brings suffering.
Is it wanting something different, something that lasts?
Is it lust? Hatred? Criticism?
Is it our need for something else - something new or different.
Has the greed of boredom taken over your mind?
You want something to make you happy, content, peaceful.
We blame the world.
When we forget to accept our life as our life we end up wanting something else than what is right in front of us. Face what comes into your life as your life. Study what the mind gets up to that disturbs you.
Remember: desire, hatred of any sort, and delusion comes into the mind as poison. BUT, we tend to overlook the dangers of these posions and go after what we want, hate what we hate and are confused by the trickery of delusion.
STOP! AND study what is cooking in your mind. Seriously.
Two questions to answer:
Is the mind of the Great Sage of India intimately communicating with you?
OR…Are you intimately communicating with your EGO?
When we find the voice of the Great Sage we calm down and trust this ever-present communication that goes beyond the material struggles in the world.
Don’t give up. Keep going.
