Two rules of Zen.
Begin and continue.
That’s it.
And where do you begin?
Right where you are.
To find your location, study yourself.
To awaken, forget yourself.
It’s never too late.
Start now.
Start to look for what is hidden right where you are.
Everything comes to awaken you. It taps, taps, taps like a raven.
Listen. Look into the mirror and see yourself, then forget yourself.
There is help all around you.
IF you want to remember, what you have forgotten.
The body comes apart and returns to dirt.
It is happening right where you are.
There is no escape.
Don’t be afraid.
It’s not who you are.
You are not the body.
The mind of conditions dissolves.
It happens to everyone.
There is no escape.
Don’t be afraid.
It’s not who you are.
You are not the mind of conditions.
It is beyond explanation.
But there is a Way.
You have forgotten.
Ask for help to remember.
Study yourself. Forget yourself.
Everything you need is in the fathom-long body in the shoreless ocean of the undying, unborn, the uncreated.
In the meantime,
Between birth and death…
Do well and be uplifted.
Forget yourself.
Drop all likes and dislikes.
Offer everything.
Possess nothing.
Let go of all beliefs.
Devote yourself to the Dharma.
Don’t look back!
Make a run for it.
Don’t give up.

Begin and continue.
Don’t give up. Run to the other shore.
Study the imagine as you are looking at your situation in life.
Don’t give up. Keep going.
